Brownlow Cafe and Ashridge Visitor Centre

This outdoor cafe sits amid the beautiful surroundings of the Ashridge Estate, between the Visitors Centre and the Bridgewater Monument.

Serving a wide variety of sweet and savoury home cooked food made from locally sourced ingredients. The range of cakes is mouthwatering, the scones with cream and jam an architectural feast and the tempting daily specials all make for a difficult culinary choice.

During popular times the queue can be quite long but it is worth the wait – and it’s dog friendly too.

Pop into the Visitors Centre for walking maps, a small interpretation room and to browse the National Trust shop.
