Armed Forces Day 2024

Riverside Shopping Centre Local Artisan Market

Riverside Shopping Centre, located in the heart of Hemel Hempstead, is welcoming back its popular Local Artisan Market on Saturday 15th June.

A popular event, the market will be open for shoppers from 10am – 4pm and is once again set to feature a wide array of local independent traders with unique products, which is set to include homeware, jewellery, candles, sweet treats and more.

The stalls will be located outdoors around the shopping centre, which boasts a range of High Street favourites including Next, H&M, TK Maxx and Pandora.

For local sellers, Local Artisan Markets encourages anyone who is interested in joining upcoming markets to send an enquiry to alongside details of their company to receive further information.

Riverside Shopping Centre has also listed their upcoming dates for the year on their website, running monthly throughout the summer until September and then again for Christmas in December.

Afternoon Communi-Tea

The Tringe Festival

The Tringe Festival has an amazing line up of the very best in comedy. With so many celebrity comedians appearing including Al Murray, Henning When, Maisie Adams, Reginald D Hunter, Ivo Graham, Helen Lederer, Robin Ince, Zoe Lyons to name a few.

The Tringe returns this July with another delightful three weeks of events. A wonderful selection of some of the best entertainment going to the Edinburgh Festival.

Tring Summer Carnival

Tring Summer Carnival runs from June 27th through to June 30th on Pound Meadow with music events on Friday evening and Sunday afternoon in the Tring Brewery Marquee for local charities.

Thursday night 27th June is the Tring Together Big Quiz Night with Rock n Roll Bingo in the marquee, Saturday 29th is Carnival Day with the High Street parade, floats, stalls, shows on Pound Meadow and music in the Tring Brewery Marquee.

Saturday evening Tring Music Partnership takes over with Music in the Marquee featuring Big Band and Swing Bands. Ticket prices and further information can be found on the website.



Marc Almond to top the bill at Chilfest 2024

Soft Cell icon, Marc Almond tops a fantastic line-up this year for the much-loved independent family-friendly festival in Tring, Hertfordshire, bringing a music retro-spective to the Chiltern Hills on July 5-6.

Friday gets the party started with a galaxy of talented tribute bands as part of Chilfest’s Totally Tribute night.  Headliners Rule the World, an exceptional Take That tribute band, are set to “Shine”. They will be joined by acts paying homage to iconic 80s and 90s artistes, including I’m Every Whitney, Rogue Minogue, Badness, and The Smiths UTD.

With its usual 80s and 90s core acts, Chilfest festival goers will be treated to some real heavyweights from the music world on the Saturday, including hits from Go West, Nik Kershaw, Glenn Gregory and Martyn Ware of Heaven 17, Ska royalty The Selecter, The Farm, Baby D and more.

For the younger generation, Chilfest also welcomes Scouting for Girls whose sing-along favourites, including You’re So Lovely, will appeal to all ages.
