Tring
The historic market town of Tring is a quaint town with its red-brick buildings and independent shops, and it was once the home of George Washington’s great-grandfather, John Washington.
Many Hertfordshire residents have school day memories of a trip to the Natural History Museum in Tring, but it’s a lovely town to explore as an adult (with or without children!)
